<Poem>

And dew floats a pear tree's
scent on someone's lotus song around him . Then the oarsmen
push off , bearing toward a flame
on the far shore , past sleep-fathoming fishermen
inside a pale shell of mist ; and voices
nearing in criss-crossing boats , the traveler
always asks , " Which way to Chen Yang ? "
